Bittorent-like P2P Software
Developed a multi-threaded peer-to-peer network code in Java for file distribution on similar lines of how BitTorrent functions.
Intrusion Detection Using KDD 99 Cup Dataset
Trained the KDD Cup 99 dataset containing simulated network packet data using a Decision Tree classifier to classify the data packets as malicious/benign with a high accuracy of over 95%.
Chord
Implemented the Chord peer-to-peer network using Scala and Akka actor framework.
Gossip Protocol Simulation
Developed a simulation of the Gossip Protocol and the Push-Sum algorithm using Scala and Akka actor framework.
Inter(pre|in)vention
Inter(pre|in)vention is a website that prompts users to read poems, and creates an interconnected graph of poems read.

Developed a module that would read birth certificates, and verify the details against our database in order to verify a dependent (on our clients' insurance plan) automatically and instantly.

Dynamic Power Conservation Routing in Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks (MANETs) - A New Approach
Our intention is to conserve the battery power of a mobile node by making an effort to apply Nash Equilibrium and the underlying Game Theory concepts to an ad-hoc network in a dynamic way.
